• You must have a keen interest in Art

Course Content

Art and Design is delivered in our outstanding purpose-built art studios which are equipped for:

• Painting
• Printmaking
• Sculpture
• Ceramics
• Fashion textiles
• Product design
• 3D design
• Graphics
• Photography
• Mixed media

The course encourages students to develop their interest of and enjoyment in the study of art and design to fulfil their own creative potential. You will be encouraged to experience new ways of working, develop new skills through using new techniques and materials.

This course has a unique vocational content meaning that students will learn about professional practice within the arts, undertaking live briefs from clients and mounting exhibitions of their own work.

Where will my course lead?

This course suits students who wish to undertake further studies in Art or Design at Art College.

Ludlow College has progression agreements to HE institutions, guaranteeing interview and progression to Foundation Degrees. Many students progress direct to Degree level and a career in the art and design industry.
