Entry Requirements

5 GCSEs including Biology grade B, B  in Double Science(or Triple) and B in Maths.

Course Content

Biology is a fast-developing science. GM technology and climate change are constantly in the headlines. This is an
exciting and demanding subject that is delivered in an innovative and dynamic way. Transferable skills such as data
analysis and practical design will be developed. Students will study a broad range of biological topics over the 2 years
and learn how to apply their knowledge to practice.

Where will my course lead?

Both AS and A level Biology are excellent courses for many non-biology degrees. There are also a vast range of specialist courses for which Biology provides an excellent foundation. You might consider Medicine, Veterinary Science, Nursing, Archaeology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Law and Pharmacology.
