The subject enables students to gain a deep and well-informed insight into the environment and the scientific processes that control and affect it. You will study our planet and how it works, consider how man is making an impact on the Earth and is trying to save it. You will experience practical lessons, demonstrations and field work.
Many higher education courses have an extensive environmental content, including ecology, geology, geography, land management, conservation and science. Ever evolving legislation and deepening concerns about environmental change mean that there is an increasing number of careers in environmental management and research.
