Geography is the only A level course which allows students to study issues at the global, national and local level which are absolutely essential for the future of humanity: global warming, rising water levels, flooding, water supply and poverty. These issues keep us informed and enables us to be active members of society.
An A level in Geography develops essential skills, particularly literacy, numeracy and decision-making.
Geography students have gone on to study a wide range of subjects offered at Higher Education. Geography is highly
regarded by employers because of the skills students develop.
