Course Content

Mathematics is an exciting subject. It helps you communicate complicated ideas in a clear and unambiguous way. People working in science, business, ICT and other areas use mathematics to explain complex situations.

You will learn how to deal with a wide range of techniques, involving numbers, algebra, geometry and calculus.
Mathematics will teach you to argue logically. It is the analytical focus needed for problem solving and the confident
handling of techniques. These are all qualities which are widely respected in other fields and over a variety of career
options.

Where will my course lead?

An A level in Mathematics will open many doors in employment and Higher Education such as degrees in Computing,
Technology and Physics. Good mathematicians are in short supply and extremely sort after.
