Course Content

Psychology is an exciting and challenging subject. It is the scientific study of the brain. It seeks to understand and explain all aspects of human behaviour as well as that of other animals. Students studying this subject will gain insight into the workings of the human brain and a range of psychological explanations of why we behave the way we do. Psychology can help provide some of the answers.

Where will my course lead?

Students can progress on to Psychology degrees in many Higher Education institutions. Psychology degrees are very popular and this may lead to many careers in health, mental health, forensic science, sport, business, advertising and teaching.
