Entry Requirements

At least a grade B in GCSE Spanish and a grade C in English Language

Course Content

Spanish is now the second most widely spoken language in the world ahead of English. Spanish is a language for business as well as providing access to the rich cultural heritage of Spain and Latin America.

AS Spanish gives you a deeper understanding of the language, both oral and written through the study of the topics of leisure and lifestyles and the individual and society.

A2 Spanish gives you an insight into topics like environmental, social and political issues.

Where will my course lead?

The ability to speak a foreign language to A Level standard will increase your employability in all fields and will enable you to do a degree course with a language component. Many degrees include an optional year/term in Spain
regardless of subject area.
