• 5 GCSEs at grade C or above which include Science
• You may have other BTEC Level 2 qualifications as entry links
• We also consider relevant work experience

Course Content

It is a practical and theory based course which equips you with knowledge and practical skills in a high demand industry, prized by Universities.

You will study such captivating topics as:

• Forensic Photography - examine how the latest digital photography is used at crime scenes
• Forensics Evidence Collection and Analysis - look at how evidence is collated and prepared for court
• Criminal Psychology
• Forensic Media and Crime

This course will offer you a real insight into the realm of forensic science, with visits to the Criminal Courts, Crown Prosecution Service plus the Police and Fire Services.

This course opens up so many opportunities both in Higher Education and employment such as working with the police, in Forensic Science, Criminal Psychological Unit or as Crime Scene Investigators.
