Entry Requirements

  • Aged 18 or over by the end of the first term
  • 5 GCSEs grade C or above including English and 1 A Level grade C or above in Art or relevant experience
  • You will need to attend an informal interview with a review of your portfolio

1 year, full-time

Course Content

You will develop a range of practices including:

  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • 3D
  • Digital and darkroom photography
  • Multi-media graphics
  • Textiles
  • Animation
  • Ceramics
  • Set design
  • Print making

You will explore a range of media, leading to individually designed pathways relevant to your skills and interests. You will develop critical and contextual understanding through artist research and critical review.

Where will my course lead?

Most students go on to complete an art and design degree which can range from fashion and textiles, illustration, photography, graphics, fine art, glass and ceramics, animation or combined courses.
