The College Facilities
Great emphasis is placed on developing each students capacity to work effectively. The College has outstanding facilities for learning, all at a level expected from a College, which specialises in developing students for Higher Education.
Harley Centre
The Harley Centre enjoys a 'state of the art' Learning Resource Centre with an extensive range of learning materials ranging from the traditional to the latest software on a fully integrated networked suite of fast computers with unlimited intranet and internet access. Every student has his or her own email address. You can 'drop in' at any time to surf, borrow, browse or simply to find a quiet place to work.

From September 2009 Ludlow College has teamed up with Vaughans (a local very popular cafe in town) to provide catering for the students. There are a range of salads, sandwiches, baked potatoes and hot meals avaiable each lunchtime. The level and style of the cuisine is complemented by the modern vibrant décor.
Specialist subjects
Specialist subjects enjoy equally fine facilities; for example, the Laboratory complex has enviable research capacity and national teams have used our indoor sports facilities for training. Computer and Technology Centres are constantly upgraded to keep pace with modern educational needs.
Creative Arts
Ludlow College values its creative arts tradition as highly as its academic excellence. Visual arts, pottery and sculpture are all offered as examined courses and as recreational options. Students' creative skills are nurtured and developed by expert staff and regular visits to art galleries and exhibitions are an important feature of our courses. For drama students, there is the opportunity to participate in public performances each year: musicals, melodrama and quality theatre. There are also frequent visits to the commercial theatre and from touring theatre companies. We, like William Blake, believe passionately in the primacy of the imagination.
In September 2006, the new specialist teaching accommodation for Art & Design opened. The design guarantees students a high quality, light and spacious 21st century studio environment, and provides facilities and exhibition space that will further enhance the teaching of these subjects at Ludlow College.
