Old Ludlovians' Association

Welcome to the Old Ludlovians' Association Home Page. The principal aim of the Association is to facilitate friendship between past members of Ludlow Girls High School, Ludlow Grammar School and Ludlow College, thereby strengthening your bond to your former school, to today's College and to one another. The Association seeks to further the interests of Ludlow College by providing loyal support and through nominating to the College's Foundation a Foundation Trustee who has a voice in its educational policies and the use of Foundation Funds. The OLA also sponsors annually a University Bursary of £100. On occasion support may also be given to the College in its provision for students, but we are not essentially a fund raising organisation.
Events Nov 2009 - OCT 2010
In 2010 the OLA is celebrating the Centenary of the founding of Ludlow Girls School in 1910, so the 2010 Annual Reunion will include a Centenary Dinner.

Friday 9th October

7.30pm: Social Evening in the Schoolroom, Palmers Hall. Celebratory for the evening fizzy drinks donated by an OL; Entertainment to include memories of the High School; sale of Centenary mugs; Presentation to the College of the 1939-1945 Roll of Honour; Ludlow Charities stall - Teme Weirs and Whitcliffe Common Trusts & the Conservation Trust for St Laurence
Saturday 10th October

10.30am: Coffee.

11:00: "The Education of Girls" talk by Janet Gough OL, followed by discussion with other "Old Girls" and the audience. Ian Barge to Chairman.

12.10pm approx: AGM, Harley Centre.

Lunch - make own arrangements.

2.15pm - 4.15pm Garden Party (indoors if wet). Displays of memorabilia, art, books. Guided tours of High Hall. Afternoon tea will be available.

6.30pm for 7pm at the Assembly Rooms (Oscars) Ludlow Girl's School Centenary Dinner.
Sunday 11th October

9.30am: Reunion Service, St Laurence's Church.
