Ludlow Town Council say thanks for an ‘outstanding achievement’

Veronica Calderbank, Ludlow Town Clerk, has written to Jonathan Davis, Principal of Ludlow College to congratulate the Professional Chef students and staff for their ‘outstanding achievement’ in the arrangement and catering of a Senior’s Christmas Party.

Veronica said, ‘The provision of such good food by young people to the elderly was an interaction outside of both age groups normal experience.  The feedback from the elderly people was of how delighted they were to see so many young enthusiastic people.  The oldest living woman in Ludlow was present, Kitty Brown, at 106.’  She asked to give them all her personal thanks.  Veronica has already asked if the College can arrange a suitable date in their diary for this year.  Dates for 2012 are being organised.
