Sports enrichment runs over all three terms in a wide variety of sports. For football we have men’s first and second teams and a women's social team, that take part in a Shropshire league and friendly fixtures. In netball there is the women's first or second team, and in hockey, a women's or mixed team that takes part in the Hereford League and friendly fixtures. The men's rugby team will participate in the Hereford and Shropshire League next year as well as a number of friendly fixtures, but there will also be the opportunity to play in some Sevens tournaments.

Over the first two terms students may also represent the college in other sports such as badminton, basketball, table tennis and cross-country, to name but a few. We are also members of the National Schools' Equestrian Association and there is the chance to represent the wider HLC team in either show jumping, dressage, cross-country or eventing. In term 3, our attention turns towards the traditional summer sports of tennis, rounders and cricket, in mixed or single sex teams.

You can also participate in other sports such as swimming, athletics and golf throughout the year. If you are interested or would like to compete in a sport not mentioned, please ask one of the sports teachers for further information.
