Tahlina was awarded a Copper Award in the Cambridge Chemistry Challenge from the University of Cambridge during her first year of study. She then went on to achieve two A grades in Physics and Maths, and a C grade in Chemistry. She is now progressing to study Astrophysics at Aberystwyth University.
“I really enjoyed the practical side of the course and the challenging nature of it. The teaching on the course was very good, the class had a relaxed atmosphere and the smaller class sizes means we got a lot of one-to-one attention. It wasn’t too pressured though, I felt like it pushed me to achieve my best. Astrophysics is very cool. We covered imaging, stars and telescopes; I just find it so interesting. In the future I would love to work in an observatory and in the more practical side of research.”
