“I suppose maths and science have always come fairly natural to me, maths is probably what I’m best at and I suppose science incorporates that a lot. I just find it really interesting learning about how everything works.
I particularly enjoyed the practical side of chemistry, it’s so different to anything else I’d done; it’s great messing about with test tubes and different chemicals, all the fizzes and bangs!
It’s such a relief to get the results and for them to be even better than I’d hoped for; I’m so thrilled.
I’ve been really happy with the course tutors; they’ve been great. I really don’t think I could have gone anywhere better. If there was anything that you didn’t quite get, they always made sure that you understood. The High Achievers Programme was really helpful. It was good for developing my debating skills and building up confidence with different presentations.”
