Admissions & How to Apply
In year 10, pupils from our partner schools are invited to visit the College and take part in taster sessions. From September, prospectuses and application forms are available - either from the partner schools or from the College. Open events are held in October, January and March and provide a good opportunity for you to come and look around the College, meet the staff and discuss your options.
Once you have decided to join Ludlow College and have chosen the course that you wish to study, you can apply online or if you prefer, you can fill in our Application Form and post it directly to The Admissions Office, Herefordshire & Ludlow College, Folly Lane, Hereford, HR1 1LS. You will be invited for an interview to discuss your choice choices.
Submission of Application Forms
Applications for the next academic year are welcome from October onwards. We will continue to consider applications through the Spring, but please bear in mind that some courses may fill up.
Interviews at Partner Schools are usually held between January and June. All other applicants will be interviewed at the College from January to July.
You will be offered a conditional place on the course based on expected results and your school report.
All potential new students, once confirmed of an offer, will be invited to the College in July for two ‘intro’ days. It is important that potential students attend these two days to experience the College and their chosen subjects. Students will then be asked to confirm their choice of subject prior to starting in September. Full details will be issued in the starting pack.
GCSE results are published on 23rd August 2017.
A Level results are published on 16th August 2017.
Enrolment begins in late August, and you will be informed what time to come for enrolment by letter during the summer holidays.
