Your College email address means that you as a student or staff member can download a copy of Microsoft Office for your home computer.
Option 1 – Download a free copy of Office365
With your College computer account you are able to download up to 5 copies of Office365 for your personal use onto Windows PCs, Tablets, Phones and iMac. You need to use your college account details when using this software. To download the software you login into https://www.office.com/ with your college email address and password and then select “Install Office” which is on the top right of the web page.
Option 2 – Purchase an Education Licence
Through the college agreement with Microsoft you are able to purchase copies of Microsoft Products ( and others ) for home use. These products are licensed per installation, and do not need you to “log-in” to use them. Its therefore ideal for PCs and other devices used in your household. Each copy you purchase can only be used on one device in most cases. You can purchase the software at http://hct.ac.onthehub.com again, you use your college email address and password. ( Please note the website refers to “Herefordshire College of Technology”). A copy of Office 2019 is currently £18.34. The sign-in option is on the top right.
